HOW DO I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?
Please either email, phone 619-952-4561 or fill out our “contact us” form. We will email you your customized contract for you to fill out, sign and return along with 50% of the total wedding package amount. We will then schedule a phone meeting to go over your ceremony details. We accept all major credit cards, Paypal and checks. Last minute weddings and short notice are always welcome!
DO WE HAVE THE RIGHTS TO OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
Yes! Ron The Photographer will provide you with a photo release form to take with you to any lab. We can give you recommendations of where to take your photos to be printed for optimal print quality and service.

Yes! Any items can be added, except for chairs. Chairs can only be added when joined with the Bamboo Canopy.
DO YOU HAVE A SOUND SYSTEM SO OUR WEDDING VOWS CAN BE HEARD?
Yes! We have an excellent battery operated yet powerful sound system which we rent to our couples and which IPod music can be played through.
CAN WE PLAY ANY KIND OF WEDDING MUSIC?
Yes! If you rent our sound system we can play your song list on our IPod. We can also recommend songs for your ceremony.
DO YOU HAVE A RECOMMENDATION FOR A VIDEOGRAPHER?
Yes! We have an outstanding videographer with many years of experience at a very affordable rate.
HOW LONG IS THE WEDDING CEREMONY?
The ceremony lasts between 15-20 minutes. We begin breaking down the decorations 20 minutes after the wedding to avoid doing removing items in the dark. We also do not allow extra tables, or other decorations brought by the wedding party.
WHAT TIME WILL SUNSET BE? Please click on my home page to find the exact sunset time for your Wedding Day. We recommend starting your ceremony at least 1 hour prior to sunset to ensure enough time for photos.
HOW DO I GET MY MARRIAGE LICENSE?
You must make an appointment, the San Diego, California County Clerk’s Office does not accept walk-ins. Please call 619-237-0502. You can download the application from the website. Under “The person performing this marriage ceremony is (check one), please check the box indicating “Clergy person”. The fee is $50. Once you obtain your license, it must be brought to your Wedding Ceremony to be signed by your witness’s (up to 2) and me. I will then hand deliver it to the County Clerk’s Office on the next business day. You can also obtain your license anywhere in California, however, I will not be able to hand deliver it to the County Clerk’s Office. It can be mailed, or the Bride and Groom can deliver it. You can download the application from the website.
HOW LONG CAN WE STAY AT OUR WEDDING SITE?

Coronado California beach weddings can be held without a permit if you have 25 guests or under. However, if you have 25 or over, a permit is required and it is the responsibility of the Bride and Groom to obtain the permit from the City of Coronado:

CAN THE BRIDE SURPRISE THE GROOM?
Yes. We provide an itinerary to help “stage” the arrival of the Bride so she is not seen by the Groom until she begins her walk down the rose petal aisle. If there are bridesmaids and groomsmen, it is always recommended that the bridesmaids walk alone, and the groomsmen stand with the groom during a beach wedding.
DO WE NEED A WEDDING REHEARSAL?
No, A wedding rehearsal is not necessary. However, an itinerary is provided with all of the details of the wedding which include processional and recessionals. It is very easy to get married on the beach and don’t worry we are here to help.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A WEDDING MINISTER?
I have been a Wedding Minister or Wedding Officiant for 8 years. I first became an Officiant when my father passed and I could not find a non-denominational officiant to perform his celebration of life. Since studied and became a Non-Denominational Ordained Minister. I provide ceremonies that respect all traditions, cultural backgrounds, religions and non-religious beliefs.
DO YOU PROVIDE MARRIAGE COUNSELING?
No, I do not, however I can recommend several marriage and family counselors in San Diego, California.
DO YOU MARRY COUPLES WHO HAVE COME FROM TWO DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BACKGROUNDS, OR INNER-FAITH MARRIAGES?
Yes! I have performed many weddings for couples with different backgrounds, and also for couples whose families are religious however the Bride and Groom are not, but want a ceremony to be respectful and to honor their families.

WILL CORONADO BEACH BE CROWDED?
The most crowded times of year are June-August. However, we book our weddings at sunset or early in the day during those months, because in our many years of experience the beach is far less crowded during those times. It is a public beach, however, so keep in mind there will be people around, but they are always respectful.
CAN WE HAVE ALCOHOL OR SMOKE ON THE BEACH?
No. Both alcohol and smoking are prohibited on the beach, however, smoking is allowed in the parking lots and on the street.
DO YOU EVER MARRY PEOPLE AT ANY OTHER BEACH OR LOCATION BESIDES CORONADO BEACH?

We have never had this happen, however if the weather forecast predicts rain, we will do everything in our power to be flexible with the day and or time of the ceremony to accommodate for weather in most cases.
Because the weather conditions can possibly pose difficulty to have a wedding outdoors (rain months in California typically are October thru March), it is the responsibility of the Bride and Groom to find an alternative location for the wedding ceremony or to rent a tent from an outside vendor.
